At last! After a long and tortuous year, the UK jobs market is finally showing genuinely strong signs of recovery. How do we know? Well, firstly, New Level Recruitment have had the busiest month of placements for a very long time - permanent and contract jobs are coming in and being filled at a refreshingly rapid rate.
Secondly, the REC and KPMG issued a joint survey this week that showed that the recruitment industry as a whole is showing the first growth in permanent placements for 17 months, and the first rise in temporary placements since July 2008. Fantastic news for all concerned!!
So, if you're currently unemployed now is definitely the time to start feeling more positive about your job prospects. If you're still in work but thinking about moving, then now might be the time to do it. And if you're thinking about taking on some HSE staff, then now would be the right moment, before the best all get snatched up!

Health & safety of general employees can be ensured through the Health & Safety in Employment Act 1992 but it has no special provisions for health & safety of expecting & new mothers at workplace. So employers may take upon some other relevant legislations such as the Parental Leave and Employment Protection Act 1987, the Human Rights Act 1993, the Employment Contracts Act 1991.
